Strategy
For the period 2022-2025, action plans for the sustainability strategy application, which are defined in accordance with Group ADP and integrated into the corporate strategy, are systematically tracked with processes within the Sustainability Management System. With the roadmaps comprising four main axes the aim is to create a new airport model with a long-term perspective, to act around a common industrial approach, to strengthen with clear priorities and measurable targets and to be inclusive of all subsidiaries at the Group level.
TAV Airports' governance structure was also updated in order to carry out the sustainability activities within the scope of the 2022-2025 Strategic Plan. Sustainability, defined as "the organization's ability to achieve business goals and increase long-term shareholder value by integrating economic, environmental and social opportunities into business strategies"; It has a strong relationship with corporate social-environmental performance, financial and market success. For this reason, sustainability is also important in terms of its short and long-term effects on various stakeholders.
According to the management approach of TAV Airports Sustainability Management System; It is accepted that the expected results can only be achieved with an effective organizational structure in sustainability, which is considered as a subject that requires organizational and cultural change. With this acceptance, the special governance structure of TAV Airports, designed to ensure the dissemination and internalization of the sustainability approach in all geographies and at all levels of operation, consists of organizational units that will both follow the compliance processes with the ADP CSR Group Strategy 2025 and implement TAV corporate sustainability strategies, and monitor the performance of the processes.
