Ankara Esenboğa Airport Welcomes FlyArystan's First Astana Flight
FlyArystan has started direct flights between Ankara Esenboğa Airport and Nursultan Nazarbayev Airport. Passengers arriving from Astana were greeted with a ceremony at the airport.
Ankara Esenboğa Airport, operated by TAV Airports, a member of Groupe ADP, has added FlyArystan to the list of airlines serving international flights. The first flight from Astana, operated by FlyArystan with an Airbus 319 aircraft under the flight number KC 7979, was welcomed at the airport with a water salute. The passengers of the flight were greeted with flowers at the terminal. FlyArystan will operate reciprocal flights between Ankara and Astana on Tuesdays and Saturdays until October 18. Together with AnadoluJet's flights on the same route on Wednesdays and Sundays, the number of direct flights between the two capitals has increased to four per week.

Today, we offer direct flights from Ankara to a total of 38 destinations internationally and 35 destinations domestically with a total of 21 airlines. We are pleased to welcome FlyArystan's first flight from Astana."
During the first four months of the year, Ankara Esenboğa Airport served 2,398,000 passengers, representing a 38% increase compared to the same period last year. The number of international passengers from Ankara increased by 54% to reach 665,000 in the first four months.
